Can you provide a calorie count for the ready to eat meals?

Because we cook from scratch with a new menu each week, it’s impossible to provide you with nutritional information. We don’t count calories or any macro nutrients as we focus on providing you with NUTRITION which comes in the form of unprocessed wholesome ingredients.

I absolutely love that you opened a new store. However, I do have one issue of a recent change you made. I noticed that the salad price has gone up and the salad no longer includes dressing. I definitely enjoyed the dressing that was provided along with the freshness. Please consider putting the dressing back in the box at the orginal price point.

Thanks for your comments, Jamie. I’m Val Criswell, president of SCRF. Here’s what we’ve done with the salads…

      1. We raised the price AND we increased the amount of salad in the container. They are now a FULL 24oz (more of everything!) – better suited for a meal salad instead of a side. The current price of our salads is comparable with salads that you’ll find at many fast food restaurants BUT still cheaper than a salad you’ll find at a sit down restaurant. The difference in ours is that we’re using premium ingredients – mainly antibiotic free (& grassfed) proteins. Our spring mix lettuce is organic, and many times (even though it’s not listed), according to availability and price that week, your other vegetables are organic (& sometimes local!) too. For example, in the last few weeks, you’ve eaten local strawberries, organic cucumbers and organic tomatoes. You most definitely will not find that at any food chain restaurant. We want to give you a great value for your money.

      2. We stopped including a dressing inside the salads. We did this for two reasons. First, we found that many customers wanted a choice other than the dressing that we paired with the salad and they didn’t use the dressing and bought a separate one anyhow. And second, we came to understand that many customers were taking the salads home or even to work where they had their own bottle that they preferred to use. We’ve been selling the 16oz bottles of Cindy’s dressings for a few years now and we’re huge fans. Not only because of the non-GMO ingredients with no chemicals or preservatives, but their REALLY FABULOUS. http://www.cindyskitchen.com. For better value, we also suggest customers consider purchasing a 16oz bottle (instead of the 2oz cup) to have on hand to use all week.

I hope this explanation eases your concern. Our motivation is not to give you less for more money, but instead, we’re always evaluating how we can give you a higher quality product at a price point that’s agreeable to you.

I’ve put a note at the checkout for you to take home a FREE SALAD AND DRESSING of your choice within the next 2 weeks (by 5/12/18). Thank you for inquiring and I very much appreciate your business. Let me know if I can answer any questions or address any other concerns.
